Flexor Carpi Ulnaris
Musculus flexor carpi ulnaris
Flexor carpi ulnaris is the most medial of the superficial flexors, flexing the wrist and pulling the hand toward the little-finger side (ulnar deviation). It is the only wrist flexor innervated by the ulnar nerve and provides a strong anchor for grip and forceful wrist flexion in pulling and carrying. It is loaded by wrist curls and any heavy gripping where the wrist resists radial deviation.
