Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis
Musculus extensor carpi radialis brevis
Extensor carpi radialis brevis is the primary wrist extensor and the main stabilizer of the wrist in extension during gripping, allowing the finger flexors to work efficiently. Its origin at the common extensor tendon is the most frequently implicated structure in lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow). It is trained by reverse wrist curls and stressed in any sustained grip task.
