Extensor Carpi Ulnaris
Musculus extensor carpi ulnaris
Extensor carpi ulnaris extends the wrist and tilts the hand toward the little-finger side, and is a key dynamic stabilizer of the ulnar side of the wrist during forearm rotation. It is important for wrist health in racket and throwing athletes and in heavy pronated-grip work. Its tendon sheath at the wrist is a common site of irritation in gripping sports.
