The wrist roller builds forearm and grip endurance by winding a hanging weight up a rope with alternating wrist flexion and extension, training both sides of the forearm in one continuous set. Hold the bar at shoulder height with arms extended and roll the weight up hand over hand, then lower it slowly under control. Keep the arms still and let only the wrists and fingers do the work; the long time under tension makes the forearms burn quickly.
