Palmaris Longus
Musculus palmaris longus
Palmaris longus is a slender, mostly tendinous wrist flexor that is absent in roughly 10-15% of people and contributes only weakly to wrist flexion. Its prominent tendon at the wrist is a common visual landmark and a frequent donor for tendon grafts. It is trained incidentally during wrist curls and grip work but is rarely a limiting factor in strength.
