Flexor Carpi Radialis
Musculus flexor carpi radialis
Flexor carpi radialis flexes the wrist and tilts the hand toward the thumb (radial deviation), running diagonally across the anterior forearm. It is a major contributor to grip and wrist-flexion strength trained directly by wrist curls and loaded carries. Its tendon is a key landmark at the wrist, sitting just lateral to the palmaris longus.
