The biceps curl is the foundational elbow-flexion movement that trains the biceps brachii, brachialis, and brachioradialis. Keep the upper arms pinned to your sides and move only at the elbow, curling the load up under control and resisting the lowering phase. Avoid swinging the torso or letting the elbows drift forward, which steals tension from the biceps.
