The hammer curl uses a neutral (thumbs-up) grip that shifts emphasis onto the brachialis and brachioradialis while still working the biceps. Keep the wrists straight and the elbows pinned to your sides as you curl toward the shoulders. This grip builds arm thickness and forearm strength alongside biceps size.
