The standing barbell curl loads both biceps simultaneously with a supinated grip, allowing heavier overload than dumbbells. Grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder width, keep the elbows tight to the torso, and curl without swinging the hips. Lower the bar slowly to keep tension on the biceps through the full range.
