Pronator Teres
Musculus pronator teres
Pronator teres is the main fast pronator of the forearm, turning the palm downward and assisting weakly with elbow flexion. It is loaded by pronation-resisted curls and any movement that drives the palm from supinated toward pronated under load. The median nerve passes between its two heads, where it can be compressed in pronator teres syndrome.
