Supinator
Musculus supinator
The supinator wraps around the proximal radius and rotates the palm upward, acting alone in unresisted supination while the biceps adds power against resistance. It is engaged by supinating curls and any movement turning the palm up under load. The posterior interosseous nerve passes through it at the arcade of Frohse, a common site of entrapment.
