Coracobrachialis
Musculus coracobrachialis
The coracobrachialis is a small flexor-adductor of the shoulder running from the coracoid process to the medial humerus, sharing its origin with the short head of the biceps. It assists front-raise and pressing patterns and helps resist deviation of the arm from the frontal plane during abduction. Though minor for hypertrophy, it is a relevant landmark because the musculocutaneous nerve pierces it, and tightness here can refer pain into the arm.
