Overhead Press

The standing barbell overhead press is the foundational vertical pressing movement, driving a bar from the front-rack position to lockout overhead and building the deltoids and triceps. Squeeze the glutes and brace the core to keep the ribcage stacked over the pelvis, and push the head ‘through the window’ once the bar clears the forehead so it finishes directly over the mid-foot.
