Bodyweight Calisthenics
The push-up is the fundamental bodyweight horizontal press, working the pectoralis major, triceps, and anterior deltoid while the serratus anterior and core stabilize the trunk. Keep the body in a rigid straight line from head to heels, hands just outside shoulder width, and lower until the chest nearly touches the floor with elbows at about 45 degrees. It builds pressing strength and trunk stability with no equipment.
