The rope triceps pushdown faces a high pulley with a rope attachment and extends the elbows downward, hitting all three heads with bias toward the lateral head for the outer-arm “horseshoe.” Keep the elbows tucked close to the sides and in front of the hips, and spread the rope apart at the bottom for a hard contraction. Don’t let the elbows flare or the back arch, which shifts load to the lats and shoulders.
