Clean High Pull
Clean Pull to Chest · Clean-Grip High Pull
BarbellPlate Free weightsFunctional
The clean high pull uses a shoulder-width clean grip to drive the bar explosively to chest height, training the second pull of the clean along with the traps and posterior chain. The narrower grip versus the snatch high pull biases the traps and biceps brachialis at the top. Extend the hips violently, then shrug and pull the elbows high to accelerate the bar upward while keeping it tight to the torso.
