The chest dip is a bodyweight compound press performed on parallel bars, where leaning the torso forward with flared elbows loads the lower fibers of the pectoralis major. Descend until the upper arms are roughly parallel to the floor, then press back up without fully locking out to keep tension on the chest. It is a powerful lower-chest builder that can be loaded with a dip belt as strength increases.
