The bar triceps pushdown uses a straight or angled bar on a high pulley with a pronated grip to extend the elbows down and lock out the triceps. Set the pulley above head height, brace the core, and hinge slightly at the hips with the elbows pinned at the sides. Push the bar down until the elbows are nearly locked, then return under control while keeping the upper arms stationary.
