Mountain Climber
Mountain Climbers · Running Plank
Bodyweight CalisthenicsFunctional
The mountain climber is a dynamic plank in which the knees drive alternately toward the chest, combining core stability with a cardio and hip-flexor demand. The shoulders, serratus, and triceps hold the plank while the abs resist rotation and extension as the legs move. Keep the hips low and level, drive the knees quickly without bouncing the butt up, and maintain a rigid line through the torso throughout.
