The dumbbell push press drives a pair of dumbbells overhead using a leg dip and drive, with the independent loads demanding more shoulder stabilization and core control than the barbell version. It allows a natural pressing path and unilateral balance work. Dip and drive through the legs, then punch both dumbbells to overhead lockout while keeping the ribs down and core braced.
