Triceps Tendon

The triceps tendon is the strong common tendon by which all three heads insert onto the olecranon to extend the elbow. It bears very high loads during heavy pressing and lockouts (bench press, dips, overhead press), and triceps tendinopathy or rupture at the olecranon is a known risk with maximal extension efforts.
