Thoracolumbar Fascia
Fascia thoracolumbalis

The thoracolumbar fascia is a large diamond-shaped sheet of connective tissue over the lower back that links the deep core, spinal extensors, lats, and glutes. It serves as a critical force-transfer hub between the upper and lower body and contributes to lumbar stability when the transversus abdominis and obliques tension it. Its role in load transmission makes it central to deadlifts, carries, and rotational power.
