Subclavius Tendon

A short rounded tendon connecting the subclavius muscle to the junction of the 1st rib and its costal cartilage, the muscle then inserting fleshily into the subclavian groove of the clavicle. It conveys the depressive, stabilizing pull that steadies the clavicle at the sternoclavicular joint during shoulder movement.
