Latissimus Dorsi Tendon

Tendo musculi latissimus dorsi

A flat tendon that twists around the teres major to insert on the floor of the intertubercular groove of the humerus, transmitting the lat’s pulling force to the arm. It can be strained or avulsed in explosive pulling and is occasionally injured in throwing athletes and climbers.
