Gracilis Tendon
Tendo musculi gracilis
The long, narrow distal tendon of the gracilis crosses the medial knee to join the pes anserinus, contributing to medial knee stability during cutting and pivoting. Because of its length and dispensable function, it is one of the most commonly harvested autografts for ACL and other ligament reconstructions.
