Sumo Deadlift

The sumo deadlift uses a wide stance with hands inside the knees, producing a more upright torso and a shorter range of motion than the conventional pull. This shifts emphasis toward the quads, glutes, and adductors while reducing lower-back shear. Spread the floor with the feet and keep the chest up to keep the bar tight to the body.
