Single-Leg Deadlift

The single-leg deadlift is a unilateral hip hinge balanced on one leg while the other extends behind as a counterweight. It builds hamstring and glute strength while heavily challenging the hip stabilizers and balance. Hinge from the standing hip, keep the hips square to the floor, and let the rear leg rise in line with the torso.
