Kettlebell Swing

The kettlebell swing is a ballistic hip-hinge that propels a kettlebell to roughly shoulder height through explosive hip extension, training posterior-chain power and conditioning. It is a hinge, not a squat: hike the bell back between the legs, then snap the hips forward to float it up. Keep the spine neutral and let the arms ride the momentum rather than lifting with them.
