Pressing dumbbells from a flat bench allows a greater range of motion and a deeper stretch on the pectoralis major while demanding more stabilization from each arm independently. Keep the wrists stacked over the elbows and lower until you feel a comfortable chest stretch before pressing the dumbbells together at the top. It is excellent for chest development and correcting side-to-side imbalances.
