Deficit Deadlift
Deficit Pull
BarbellPlate Free weights
The deficit deadlift is pulled while standing on a raised platform of one to four inches, increasing range of motion and demand off the floor. The extra depth heavily challenges the hamstrings, glutes, and back at the bottom and builds starting strength. Keep the spine braced and neutral, since the deeper start makes it harder to maintain position.
