Dead Bug

Bodyweight Calisthenics
The dead bug is a supine anti-extension exercise in which opposite arm and leg extend while the lower back stays pressed into the floor, training the deep core to stabilize the spine against limb movement. It is a safe, beginner-friendly way to build trunk control and coordination. Keep the ribs down and lumbar spine flat, move one arm and the opposite leg slowly, and stop the moment the back begins to arch.
