Close-Grip Bench Press

Using a grip roughly shoulder-width or narrower, the close-grip bench press shifts emphasis to the triceps brachii while still recruiting the chest and front delts. Keep the elbows tucked close to the torso and lower the bar to the lower chest or upper abdomen. It builds pressing lockout strength and triceps mass.
