Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse
BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL!
We went to the latest SpiderMan cartoon - which I didn’t even realize was out until i was looking. Amazingly and wonderfully….it was a huge hit with everyone. It was a phenomonally good movie. I personally can’t stand the general comic book movie anymore, but these SpiderMan movies are amazingly. I think perhaps the fact that it is animated from the get go, leans immediately into the multi-verse as a core part of it’s story (rather than a frustrating mechanism to solve plot problems), and the highly stylized art style takes me outside of my over-exposed movie cynicism and I love it. Everyone did.
