School Day 2022-12-20
Schedule For today
We are making the mental transition for everyone to go to public school sometime after the new year. Heloise, Brigetta and Erasmus are certainly excited. I think Huxley is somewhat excited, but just nervous about how well he will be able to slip into classes.
We’ve talked a great deal, and I’ve told him I think he will do great and any work that he may need to catch up he’ll be able to do and I’ll help him with.
Today was a bit ad hoc - I am terribly behind on everything. Huxley has taken it upon himself to get into the pre-algebra math book to prep for school.
Huxley, Erasmus did a refresher over the metric system how it was originallly devised all the units were related.
Erasmus and I talked a bit about the politics of England, warfare, and some related topics. This emerged from checking out my London trip pics (which also run as a screensaver on the the upstairs television). Brigetta and Heloise had their last art camp class.
Erasmus and I did a quick drive to the reservoir and a walk and we saw a huge number of large birds of prey. At least three bald eagles and several other kinds. Oddly they were all sitting in a tree together.
