Another Beautiful Day
The weather is beautiful right now. Erasmus and I went on a brief hike at Sycamore Trails along the Des Moines River. It feels almost sub-tropical there right now the plant life is so verdant.
Heloise is in Girls on the Run - 4th Grade this year. It’s an extracurricular after school 2 days a week. She has her 5k coming up this weekend! She enjoys the running and the . I have tried encouraging her to try a team sport but she adamantly refuses… :/ Brigetta brought home her two math tests with pride, as she got an A on both. It is NOT her favorite subject, but she tries hard on all her work. She is also enjoying her role on the student leadership team. She has been contributing to . Brigetta was also very excited because she gets to present some spoken material at her concert next 6th Grade Spring Chorus Concert. It always gives me joy that she still loves telling me so much about her day still. Huxley, Erasmus and I played King of the Court for an hour. Huxley smoked us in general of course, but Raz is improving his shot.
