A Beautiful Summer
We had a full and boisterous house up until today. Huxley’s best friend from Bozeman was able to visit last week up until Monday, and Erasmus had two friends stay for the past week as well up until today. So…8 people, and 2 cats in the house for the last week. I still struggle finding my own community, but I’m proud and happy to have established a home for the kiddos to be secure and comfortable. We are one week out from the school year and they have all been very busy this summer with camps, school, friends, etc. I have been extremely busy between supporting the kids, school and work but I try to find time every day to spend with them. Today we tried going to play minigolf but were a bit too late - so it was some basketball and a movie night instead.
We watched A Cabin in the Woods. I had not seen it for a long time. Hux, Brigetta and Heloise watched it with me. They were a bit confused by the premise but enjoyed it - and I certainly got a kick out of it again.
