Summary
Today was largely occupied with prepping Raz for his camping trip with the Shirleys to Cliff & Wade lakes. He has been excited for days and has been prepping his gear several times a day. Dad has his first piano lesson today.

Word of the Day: philosophy We watched a quick video on what is philosophy. Tried having a discussion on the Ship of Theseus - was a bit beyond the little ones head but had a good conversation with Raz on it. I am looking into more games that are educational to try to combine the desire/fun of screens with some educational value. I think i will accumulate a collection of various games that I will vet and then give them unlimited access to. The first good find was a programming game called ‘Exception’.

Continues to do well with math. Definitely need to give him more on other dimensions, like science, history, philosophy, art as he has the natural inclination and interest in it all.

Day
We went to Piano lessons. Raz continues to do great. I had my first lesson. It is always fun watching Lou - she’s so energetic and talkative with Angela (the piano teacher). I am hoping that if I take lessons, it’ll give some energy and community to our music lessons…and I’m excited to do it myself.

We read Russell the Sheep and Milly and Tilly: The Story of a Town Mouse and a Country Mouse and then roughhoused a bit.
