Trapezius Aponeurosis
Aponeurosis musculi trapezii
The flat tendinous sheet by which the descending fibers of the trapezius attach to the skull and upper cervical spine. It transmits the elevation and extension forces of the upper traps and shares the nuchal-line/nuchal-ligament attachment with the deeper posterior neck extensors.
