Pectoralis Minor Tendon

The pectoralis minor tendon anchors the muscle to the medial border and superior surface of the coracoid process of the scapula, transmitting the downward and forward pull that tilts and depresses the scapula. Its position deep to the coracoid makes it relevant in shoulder impingement and as a surgical landmark for coracoid procedures.
