Long Head of Biceps Tendon
Tendo capitis longi musculi bicipitis brachii

The long head of the biceps tendon originates at the supraglenoid tubercle, runs through the glenohumeral joint and down the intertubercular (bicipital) groove, and is considered a functional part of the rotator cuff complex. It contributes to anterior shoulder stability, and because it lies just under the supraspinatus tendon it is commonly involved in cuff pathology and anterior shoulder pain in lifters.
