Deltoid Tendon
Tendo musculi deltoidei
The deltoid tendon converges from the three heads of the deltoid to insert on the deltoid tuberosity on the lateral shaft of the humerus. It transmits the powerful abduction and flexion/extension forces of the deltoid to the arm during pressing and raising movements.
