Adductor Magnus Tendon

The aponeurotic tendon of the adductor magnus inserts broadly along the linea aspera, with the hamstring portion forming a strong rounded tendon at the adductor tubercle. The opening between these insertions forms the adductor hiatus, transmitting the femoral vessels; the tendon transmits the high hip-extension and adduction loads of deep squats and wide-stance pulls.
