The walking lunge progresses the lunge into continuous forward travel, building leg strength, balance, and conditioning. Take a large step forward, lower until the rear shin is near parallel to the floor, then push off and bring the trailing leg through into the next rep. Keep the front knee over the laces and the core braced for stability through each step.
