The Nordic hamstring curl anchors the ankles and lowers the torso toward the floor under control, overloading the hamstrings eccentrically through knee flexion. It is highly effective for building eccentric hamstring strength and reducing strain-injury risk. Keep the hips extended in a straight line, resist the descent as slowly as possible, then push off the floor to assist back up.
