Bodyweight Calisthenics
The bodyweight standing calf raise uses only body mass to plantar-flex the ankles, making it a portable, equipment-free starting point for calf training and rehab. Standing on a step lets the heels drop below the toes for a fuller stretch than flat ground. Rise onto the toes as high as possible, pause to squeeze, and lower slowly; high reps are typically needed to fatigue the calves without external load.
